Pilates

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s as rehabilitation for returning war veterans, this discipline has been embraced by athletes including boxer, dancer and martial artists.

The Pilates method is a very complete education for body where the body and mind work  integrally. Its target  is to get physical and functional balance, to build an harmonious body, developing strength, flexibility and muscle strength, with body awareness.

Pilates strengthens posture, improves self- confidence and wellbeing through fluid movements where the mind controls the body.

From the 14th of September, Sanuk is glad to open its doors to Pilates. Classes will be taught by Manola Del Signore of MDS Wellness
